I am curious as to how brides-to-be go about finding wedding officiants (I am a Notary Public and an Ordained Minister). Most of my business comes from internet advertising but it seems to me there must be other ways to generate business.

Be Married on the beautiful sands of Clearwater or St. Pete beaches. To save a lot of money on a reception site, consider using ballrooms owned & operated by such military groups as the American Legion or the Veterans od Foreign Wars (V.F.W.). These halls have just about everything an expensive hotel -resort offers regarding the amount of guests to be seated, (50 - 250) , a stage & sound system for your D.J. or band, a professional kitchen to make your meals or use a caterer. Many of the halls have their own caterer at really reasonable rates that a resort can’t touch. Alcoholic drinks are generally half of the price you would expect to pay at a hotel / resort. The hotel(s) your out of town guests are staying at,….. already have the pools and beaches they want to enjoy. The bridal couple will have all the same amenities available to them at their honeymoon location. Save big! Keep your wedding costs low and still have a lovely, meaningful and memorable wedding.

When the brides parents are divorced for years, who pays for what? It is the tradition of the father of the bride to pick up all bride expenses? Should the Mom, who is remarried be responsible for the various expenses? I was always raised it is the brides father responsibility.
